The 6-4 Toronto win over Boston was due largely to Todd Smith. The Robbers left fielder hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times. The winning pitcher was Josh Chira. His record now stands at 1-4. The right-hander went 6.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 2 hits for the Robbers. Toronto, now 13-8, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Smith had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-1 sinker from Matthieu Thomas, he banged a 2-run home run to center, giving the Robbers a 6-4 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Smith.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Smith.
