Cruz Touches All Bases, Hits for Cycle
San Diego Luchadors shortstop Miguel Cruz had one of the best days of his career, when he hit for the cycle and paved the way for the 12-5 Luchadors win over the Phoenix Firebirds at Firebirds Ballpark.

"Everything was just clicking today," he said.

Cruz shelled the Firebirds for 4 hits in 6 at-bats, collected 3 RBI and scored 3 runs.

Miguel Cruz struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Ed Stewart in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

In the current season, Cruz has put up a .268 batting average with 71 hits, 15 home runs, 38 RBI and scored 37 runs.
