| Oklahoma City Loses, 4-3, in 10 | The Atlanta Peaches clipped the Oklahoma City Twisters, 4-3, in 10 innings at Wranglers Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Atlanta pitcher and Clinton, Utah, native Dave Smith. The winner in relief was Jose Ramirez. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-1. Luis Salazar was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 9 save opportunities.
Atlanta used the timely hitting of Danny Scott to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Peaches on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Our team showed some resilience," said Scott.
The triumph makes Atlanta 26-63.
