| Luchadors Drop to .500 After 7-1 Loss to Jets | The Dallas Jets tallied a win at Jets Field, throttling the San Diego Luchadors, 7-1. Starting pitcher Gerardo Corona was a big reason for his team's success. Corona, now 9-6, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. Picking up his 6th save was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Daniel Morales.
The Jets got a big at-bat from catcher Josh Rowe. For the game, Rowe went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 6th double of the season gave Dallas a 3-0 lead.
"Solid game, solid win tonight," said a smiling Rowe.
Dallas has now won 3 straight, while the Luchadors have lost 3 in a row.
