| Rangers Suffer 7-2 Home Defeat | The Leon Toltecs picked up a win at Globe Life Field, knocking off the Houston Rangers, 7-2. Starting pitcher Kareem Brobbey played a key role in the triumph. Brobbey, now 8-5, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 1, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. With the win, Leon raised its record to 56-35.
Leon used a big swing from Chris Joyce to get the win. The catcher walloped a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Toltecs up, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Brobbey said after the game.
