Jets Rally to Nose Past San Diego
Jets Field played host to some exciting baseball.

In a low-scoring contest between the Dallas Jets and the San Diego Luchadors, Angelo Trevino, who finished 5th in the UL in ERA with 2.04 in 2041, proved to be the difference. The Dallas right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-1 Jets win. Dallas pitcher Vinny Hernandez got the win. He's now 5-4. Dustin Seavert was tagged with the loss.

The Jets got a clutch hit from designated hitter Jason Furr. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Jets.

"It was a test of wills," said David Fields, the Dallas skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."

The second-place Jets now sit at 44-48.
