Jets Suffer One-Run Loss at Houston
Getting a good performance from shortstop Miguel Loayza, the Houston Rangers defeated the Dallas Jets, 5-4. Loayza went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Rangers. Enrique Castro earned the save, his 18th. The Rangers go to 38-57 with the win.

In the bottom of the third, Loayza had a grand slam home run for Houston. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Rangers on top, 4-0.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Loayza said.
