| Late Offense Lifts Dallas to 7-4 Victory | A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Dallas Jets and Houston Rangers.
Houston got a decent performance from pitcher Hector Garcia, but it wasn't enough to beat the Dallas Jets. Dallas won the Globe Life Field contest, 7-4. Garcia threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. Dallas is now 47-49.
Dallas used the timely hitting of Josue Hernandez to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Jets on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Hernandez told the Dallas Citizen.
