| Arsenal CF Ryals goes 4-for-5 in Win | Arsenal center fielder Danny Ryals left his mark on his team's 12-5 win over the New York Empire. Ryals, who is tied for 9th in the IL in hits with 25, went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for Arlington in the contest. Arlington goes to 12-7 with the win.
With Arlington leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Ryals hit a fastball from Manny Lopez for a 2-run double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Arsenal ahead, 3-0.
"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Ryals, "one at-bat at a time."
