| Oklahoma City Beats Mexico City, 4-1 | The first-place Oklahoma City Twisters took on the Mexico City Marauders in front of a spirited crowd.
Benjamin Lecomte pitched a gem to lead Oklahoma City to victory over the Mexico City Marauders , 4-1. The winning pitcher was Lecomte, now 12-7. He tossed 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 5 and fanning 5. Brian Costello earned the save, his 6th.
Miguel Castillo had a big 2-run triple for the Twisters in the bottom of the first inning. With Oklahoma City leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Marcos Maldonado, who is tied for 9th in the UL in strikeouts with 149, and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 4th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Twisters ahead, 4-0.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Lecomte.
The current losing streak for Mexico City has reached 4 games.
