| Arsenal Capture 5-2 Win at Jackals Stadium | Spirited fans greeted the Jacksonville Jackals for their clash with the Arlington Arsenal.
Starting pitcher Chase Ciotola had a solid game. He was a big reason the Arlington Arsenal throttled the Jacksonville Jackals, 5-2. The Arsenal, at 11-12, sit in first place in the Independent Central.
Arlington used the timely hitting of Elias Torres to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Arsenal on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Nice win for us," said Torres. "Now we'll go after the next one."
