Diaz Hits 2 home runs in Kings Win
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Boston Kings and Orlando Orange.

The Boston Kings trumped the Orlando Orange, 3-1, at Orange Park. Boston third baseman Danny Diaz was terrific. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Boston pitcher Nate Smith got the win, upping his record to 2-3. Bob Figueroa got the loss. Carlos Ayala notched his 6th save of the season.

The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth when Diaz hit a solo home run. It thrust the Kings into the lead, 2-1.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Diaz told the Boston Times.

The Kings, at 10-13, sit in third place in the Independent Central.
