| Peaches Take Down Hitters, 4-3 | The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.
The Atlanta Peaches racked up a win at Peachers Park, bumping off the Hollywood Hitters, 4-3, in 10 innings. Jordan Nunez, who started for Atlanta, pitched effectively for his team. Bill Baker picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Mike Wright suffered the loss.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Atlanta first baseman Jorge Rodriguez, facing Mike Wright, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Peaches the 4-3 win.
"This place sure got loud," said David Fields, the Atlanta manager.
The victory makes Atlanta 34-74.
