| Philadelphia Gets 8-5 Win | Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Boston Kings home opener. Evan Morrison started for the home team against Ernesto Duarte for the Philadelphia Fury. The Kings were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 8-5, Philadelphia. Luc Chauvin, though, was impressive. Ernesto Duarte, the winner, is now 1-0. He struck out 5 and walked 1 over 5.2 innings, while allowing 5 runs on 10 hits.
Philadelphia shortstop Miguel Trujillo contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the sixth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 1st hit of the season and put the Fury ahead, 7-4.
"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Trujillo.
