| Vipers Drop 6-1 Decision | Val Kerr, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2039 draft, never let the Vipers get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Mammoths to a win, 6-1. Montreal reliever Val Kerr, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2039 draft, was credited with the win. His record goes to 3-0. Andrew Hood took the loss for Detroit. The first-place Mammoths have a one-game lead in their division.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Sam Keough? The Montreal second baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Mammoths on top, 1-0. For the game, Keough had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
