Kings Earn Late Win
Boston parlayed a decent outing from starter Jeff Bychyk into a solid win over the New York Empire. The final score was 4-3. The win for the Kings raised their record to 12-12.

Had Casey Warren not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Warren hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Kings.

"Both teams played hard," said Boston manager David Fields.
