| Boston Wins 2-1 Nail-Biter | The Boston Kings used a stellar performance from pitcher Felipe Almonte to throttle the Detroit offense en route to an extra-inning, 2-1 win at Condors Park. Boston has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.
The Kings got a clutch hit from second baseman Dan Breyfogle. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Kings.
"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Boston field general David Fields.
