| Toronto Hands Arlington 5-3 Defeat | Getting offensive support from Guadalupe Mejia, the Toronto Robbers topped the Arlington Arsenal, 5-3. Mejia was 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Robbers. Pat Greer was credited with the save for Toronto, his 9th of the season. The second-place Robbers go to 16-9.
Toronto grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Mejia hit a 3-run home run off Victor Corral. His 9th home run of the season put the Robbers out in front, 5-3.
Toronto manager David Fields commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
