Hawks Clip Robbers, 2-1, in DS Contest
The Chicago Hawks defeated the Toronto Robbers, 2-1, in Game 2 of the Divisional. Doing his part was starter Stephen Wilkins, who threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The win moves Chicago into a 1-1 tie with Toronto in the series.

Mark Hamlett made it 2-1, in favor of Chicago when he delivered a 2-run single. It came with one out in the top of the eighth. The Hawks went on to win.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Wilkins.

The next game is set to be played for Friday, August 6th , 2038 at Hawks Park in Chicago.
