| Divisional Goes the Distance, Chicago Prevails | The Chicago Hawks and Toronto Robbers put on a classic Divisional that was in question until the final game.
In the end, Chicago won the deciding contest by a score of 2-1, to take the series 3-2.
"It doesn't get much tighter than that. To win a series in the last game is a thrill," said Jose Baez, who earned series MVP honors for Chicago. "Our guys are breathing a little easier now."
For the series, Baez hit .471 with a .550 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 3 runs.
