The New York Empire clubhouse was filled with glee and celebration tonight, while the Orlando Orange room was filled with despair and sadness after the Divisional concluded.

"Someone's got to win and someone's got to lose, we're just glad we're on the good end of it tonight and can enjoy this," said Jorge Hernandez, who was named MVP for a strong series of offensive performance.

New York won the final game by a 12-3 count at Orange Park and the series 3-1.

Orlando manager David Fields was simple and to-the-point in his assessment of the series.

"They were the better team and deserve to move on," he said.

For the series, Hernandez hit .450 with a .476 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The New York Empire don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Toronto Robbers - Chicago Hawks series. Toronto leads the series 2 games to 1. The Conference Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional finishes.
