| Pioneers Heading to Conference Championship | The San Francisco Pioneers outclassed the Denver Queens in all facets of the game throughout the UL Divisional.
The end result was a San Francisco series sweep to advance to the Conference Championship, capped off by a 3-2 win in the final game.
"We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said third baseman Jason Green, who hit .400 in the series.
Green's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .438 on-base percentage and had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The San Francisco Pioneers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Leon Toltecs - Honolulu Makos series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The Conference Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional finishes. | | |  | |
