Empire Hammered by Duffy, Drop Game 4 to Hawks
The Chicago Hawks knotted up the Conference Championship at Hawks Park, thanks in large part to first baseman Brian Duffy. Duffy was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 as he overpowered the New York Empire, enabling Chicago to grab the 9-7 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Mark Martin, who finished 4th in the IL in home runs with 29 in 2035, chipped in a 2-run home run for Chicago in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
