Rodrigo Ortiz was a major factor in the 6-4 Miami win over Boston. The Makos second baseman went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. The win gives Miami a season record of 15-13.

With Miami leading 4-1 in the bottom of the second, Ortiz hit a fastball from Nate Smith for a 2-run double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Makos ahead, 6-1.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Ortiz.
