| Jackals Get One-Run Win at Arlington | Good production from catcher Camden Hodge helped the Jacksonville Jackals topple the Arlington Arsenal, 6-5. Hodge went 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Jackals. Scott Lohmann, who finished 5th in the IL in strikeouts with 161 last year, was the winning pitcher. Over 7 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 10 hits, with 3 walks and 8 strikeouts. Jacksonville is now 1-2.
Brian Taylor, who is a four-time All-Star, helped out the Jacksonville cause in the top of the fifth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-5. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
