| Makos Deal Kings 4-2 Defeat | Willie de la Rosa left his imprint on the 4-2 Miami win against the Boston Kings. de la Rosa, who finished 5th in the IL in home runs with 22 last year, went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Malachi Brock was the winner. He's now 6-0. The loser was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Miguel Salguero. Miami has now won 7 in a row.
The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth. That's when de la Rosa hit a grand slam home run off Miguel Salguero. It propelled the Makos into the lead, 4-0.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said de la Rosa.
