In a low-scoring contest between the Boston Kings and the Miami Makos, Roberto Vivanco was the X factor. The Boston right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Ricardo Hernandez earned the save for Boston. Boston bumps their record to 15-18 with the win.

Stuart Hively hit a 2-run home run off Vic Marinez in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Kings ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Hively had 1 double, while going 2 for 3.

"Roberto made the big pitches when he needed to," said Boston manager David Fields.
