Arsenal Reel Off Another Win
The Arlington Arsenal went home winners at Mammoths Field, thanks in large part to starter Chase Ciotola. Ciotola stifled the Montreal Mammoths, enabling Arlington to grab the 2-0 win. Ciotola yielded no runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 10. His record improves to 5-0. Tony Alba picked up the save, his 6th.

Arlington used the timely hitting of Dennis Crabbe to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Arsenal on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Chase was a tough nut to crack," said Montreal manager David Fields.

Montreal has now lost 8 consecutive games.
