Arlington Loss Takes Shine Off Martin Performance
Despite a great performance by Arlington third baseman Kyle Martin, the Boston Kings defeated the Arsenal by the score of 9-8 at Ballpark of Arlington. Martin went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Joe Penrod earned save number 5. The Kings improved to 16-18.

Boston used the timely hitting of Matt Cieslinski to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Kings on top, 9-8. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"This game had a little bit of everything," said Cieslinski.
