Mendez Delivers Walk-Off Win for Fury
Joe Jones pitched a dandy of a game to help the Philadelphia Fury beat the Boston Kings, 1-0. The loss lowers the Boston record to 3-3.

Philadelphia got a game-changing hit from Willis Mendez. The left fielder blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Boston manager David Fields said, following the tough loss.
