| Hawks Earn 6-3 Win Versus Tampa Bay | The Chicago Hawks besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Tampa Bay left fielder Antonio Cedeno by beating the Sunrays, 6-3, at Sunrays Field. Cedeno went 3-4 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times. DeAndre Woods claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. His record stands at 1-0. The last-place Hawks have a record of 13-23.
Roger Camarena helped out the Chicago cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the catcher was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles.
"We didn't play well enough to win," Tampa Bay skipper David Fields said.
