Raul Rodriguez, who is rated as the 21st best prospect by BNN, imposed his will on the Orange from the get-go. Relying mainly on his curveball, the right-hander spearheaded the 4-0 Jacksonville triumph. With the victory, the Jackals upped their record to 29-9.

The win was credited to Rodriguez. He raised his season record to 5-2. In 8 innings of work, Rodriguez gave up no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 6. The Orange never could get a clutch hit when they needed it.

"Nothing fazes Raul," said Jacksonville manager David Fields.
