The Toronto Robbers defeated the Detroit Vipers, 6-3, in part because of designated hitter Bobby Goguen. Goguen was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles for the Robbers. Pat Greer, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2043 draft, earned the save for Toronto. The win gives Toronto a record of 2-2.

Toronto used the hitting of Guadalupe Mejia to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Robbers on top, 5-2. For the game, Mejia had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
