| Mammoths Absorb 6-3 Home Loss | The Jacksonville Jackals racked up a win at Mammoths Field, bumping off the Montreal Mammoths, 6-3. Julio Labron, who started for Jacksonville, pitched effectively for his team. Scott Lohmann notched his 13th save of the season. The Jacksonville win streak is now 5 games.
It could have been a different outcome for Jacksonville, had it not been for Hector Garcia, the former first round draft pick . Garcia contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Jacksonville up, 3-2.
"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Montreal manager David Fields.
