| Arsenal Reel Off Another Win | The Arlington Arsenal picked up a win at Ballpark of Arlington, knocking off the Miami Makos, 7-2. Starting pitcher Jeff Huck was a big reason why. Ramon Betancourt finished the game for Arlington and earned his 8th save. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for Arlington.
In the bottom of the sixth, Arlington shortstop Erick Alvarado gave his team the lead. With one out and the bases loaded, Brewski hit his 11th double of the year. Miami pitcher Vic Marinez surrendered it. With that, the Arsenal jumped in front, 2-1.
"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Arlington manager David Fields. | | | | |
