Paucar Shines in 5-0 New York Win
New York first baseman Enrique Paucar helped his team beat the Orlando Orange, 5-0. Paucar, who finished 3rd in the IL in extra base hits with 51 in 2026, went 2 for 2 for the Empire. New York pitcher Bobby Frausto got the win. He's now 4-2. Ryan Kimball was tagged with the loss. New York is now 17-26, while Orlando is 17-26.

With New York leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Paucar hit a splitter from Ryan Kimball for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Empire ahead, 5-0.

"I liked the focus, I liked the effort," said Empire manager David Fields.
