Matt Harris was nothing short of phenomenal for the Orlando Orange. The 36-year-old left-hander was a big reason his team beat the New York Empire, 4-1. Harris, now 2-5, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. So far in 2042, Orlando is 18-26.

Orlando used a well-timed hit by Chris Whatley to capture the win. The center fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Orange ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Harris said.
