| Sunrays Earn Win with Late Rally | In a low-scoring game between Tampa Bay and Chicago, Matt Jennings was fantastic. The Sunrays right-hander, who is tied for 9th in the IL with a 0.93 WHIP, helped his team beat the Hawks, 1-0, in 10 innings. The victory gives Tampa Bay a record of 36-12.
Jennings, a native of Menlo Park, California, was dealing all game. He kept Chicago hitters off-balance, while giving the Sunrays 7.1 quality innings. Jennings threw 100 pitches, allowing 5 hits and striking out 8.
