Miami starter Malachi Brock put a stranglehold on the Philadelphia offense. The left-hander had complete command of his cutter in leading the Makos to a 4-1 win. Carlos Sanchez got credit for the save for Miami. It was his 1st of the year. With the win, Miami raised its record to 32-15.

Brock scattered 5 hits over 7.2 innings for the Makos. With the win, Brock moves to 8-0 on the year with 80 strikeouts.

"Main thing is I want the team to win," Brock told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
