| Cedeno has 4 hits to Ignite Sunrays Offense | The Tampa Bay Sunrays defeated the Jacksonville Jackals, 6-1, in part because of right fielder Antonio Cedeno. Cedeno was 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Sunrays. With the win, Tampa Bay raised its record to 38-13.
Tampa Bay took a 5-0 lead on Cedeno's 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Robby Perez in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Tampa Bay to the win.
