| Hawks Spill Makos, 4-1 | The Chicago Hawks went home winners at Hawks Park, thanks in large part to starter Art Davis. Davis stifled the Miami Makos, enabling Chicago to grab the 4-1 win. Jarred Mudd finished the game for Chicago and earned his 11th save. Chicago, with the win, is 17-37.
With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Roger Camarena had a game-changing hit. The Hawks catcher slammed a 2-run single off Brandon Diggs, making the score 4-1, Chicago.
