| Arlington Falters Again, Loses, 3-2, to Chicago | Conditions were not ideal but Chicago and Arlington were able to put their game in the books.
The Chicago Hawks converted a terrific effort from starter Ryan Smith into a win over the Arlington Arsenal at Hawks Park. The Hawks won the game by a final score of 3-2. Smith picked up the win for Chicago, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 3-2.
Jose Baez had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the seventh for Chicago. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Chicago in front, 3-0.
"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Arlington manager David Fields.
The Hawks lead the Independent North Division by 7 games.
