Big Day for Boardley as Kings Down Robbers, 7-5
Boston left fielder Matt Boardley was instrumental in helping the Kings triumph, 7-5, over the Toronto Robbers. Boardley hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Alex Ramirez picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Dominique Bruno suffered the loss. Boston bumps their record to 25-29 with the win.

Boardley had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Rogelio Vargas, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Kings a 7-5 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Boardley.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Boardley told the Boston Times.
