| Young Now 2-4 Following 2-1 Win | Starting pitcher Justin Young gave the Detroit Vipers a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Montreal Mammoths, 2-1, at Mammoths Field. Detroit currently is in second place in the Independent North Division at 24-31.
The Mammoths had few good swings against Young, the left-hander, who threw 98 pitches over 7 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 1 hit.
