| Ryals Stars for Arsenal in 5-2 Win | Arlington and Chicago duked it out and the Arsenal came out victorious.
The exploits of center fielder Danny Ryals, who is tied for 5th in the IL in doubles with 17, helped the Arlington Arsenal defeat the Chicago Hawks, 5-2. Ryals went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Brett Skinner got credit for the win, improving to 8-2. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits in 7 innings.
With Arlington trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Ryals hit a cutter from Luis Trevino for a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Arsenal ahead, 4-2.
"Danny is still learning," said Arsenal manager David Fields. "The sky's the limit for him."
