| Kings Rally to Win, 3-2 | Starting pitcher Andres Solano gave the Boston Kings a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Detroit Vipers, 3-2, at Condors Park. Boston pitcher Carlos Ayala got the win, upping his record to 3-4. Gabe Stanger got the loss. Boston has 3 straight wins, Detroit 3 straight losses.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Boston third baseman Danny Diaz, facing Gabe Stanger, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Kings the 3-2 win.
"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Solano.
