Roberto Vivanco never let Philadelphia get something going. The Tampa Bay right-hander commanded his curveball in pitching the Sunrays to a 5-1 win. The save went to Jerry Gripper, his 1st this season. The loss makes Philadelphia 29-37.

The Sunrays got a big at-bat from third baseman Jose Gallegos. For the game, Gallegos went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Tampa Bay a 2-0 lead.

"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Vivanco. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
