Magana Takes Chainsaw to Toronto Bats in 5-1 Win
The Miami Makos rode a solid performance from 25-year-old starting pitcher Juan Magana to a win, beating the Toronto Robbers, 5-1, at Mounties Park. The second-place Makos are now 37-32, the Robbers 41-28.

Magana allowed 1 run on 6 hits over 8 innings for Miami. With the win, the southpaw is 7-7 with an ERA of 2.48.

"Juan has the heart of a gladiator," said Miami manager David Fields.
