| Garcia Schools Philadelphia in 4-1 New York Triumph | The first-place New York Empire took on the Philadelphia Fury in front of a spirited crowd.
New York Empire pitcher Danny Garcia was in top form, leading his team past the Philadelphia Fury, 4-1. Ricky Rael got the save, the 6th for him this season.
Garcia picked up the win. He's now 8-2, after putting the Philadelphia offense in the deep freeze. Over 7.1 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 1 hit.
"Danny giving us the start that he did was huge," said New York manager David Fields.
