Hawks Squelch Mammoths Offense in Shutout Win
The Chicago Hawks got a magnificent performance from pitcher Mario Villalobos, who muffled the Montreal offense en route to a tight, 3-0 Hawks win at Hawks Park. Marshall Davies picked up his 13th save of the season. Chicago is now 40-32, Montreal 34-38.

Chicago took a 3-0 lead on Ryan Hoyt's 2nd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Hoyt hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Montreal pitcher Nick Santiago visibly frustrated.

"Mario pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Chicago manager David Fields.
