| Orange Defeated, 7-5, After Detroit Rallies | The Vipers grabbed a win, 7-5, at Orange Park, overcoming a fine effort from Orlando pitcher Vicente Santiago. Santiago went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. Enrique Flores picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Bill Meagher was tagged with the loss. The Vipers improved to 36-38.
Jaden Harris came through with a big-time hit for Detroit. The left fielder smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 7-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Harris.
