| Robbers Win Squeaker, 5-4, Over Jackals | Jacksonville got a valiant performance from pitcher Andy Partlow, but it wasn't enough to beat the Toronto Robbers. Toronto won the game, 5-4. Partlow threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. Toronto goes to 47-33. The win puts them 4½ games up in their division.
Toronto took a 5-4 lead on Ian Raisner's 17th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Raisner hit in the top of the tenth, left Jacksonville pitcher Mike Ludwig visibly frustrated.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Raisner. "And not try to do too much."
