| Sunrays Victors, 4-3, at Chicago | The Chicago Hawks and Tampa Bay Sunrays provided some drama for the home crowd.
Tampa Bay pitcher Jeff Bolser had a large part in his team beating the Chicago Hawks, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. John Winsor earned the save for Tampa Bay, his 2nd of the year.
Gavin Subler had a direct impact on the outcome. Subler contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put Tampa Bay up, 2-0.
Tampa Bay manager David Fields said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
The Sunrays, now 2-0, have hit the ground running this season.
